About the role
Match2one (Part of Verve Group) is looking for a Head of Ecommerce Partnerships to carry out our company mission by accelerating our channel and integration strategy in the Ecommerce space. As the first Partnerships hire, you'll approach potential agency and technology partners, form agreements, drive sales pipeline, and manage the success of those relationships. You'll report to the Chief Commercial Officer and help develop our initial partnership strategy by leveraging your experience managing SaaS Tech and media partnerships. This is a growing team where you will make a significant impact from day one.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success and significant experience in ecommerce platforms and preferably experience in the Shopify platform. This individual will be a self-starter who can work in a rapidly changing industry and can scale a high growth business.
Deep familiarity of the eCommerce ecosystem, core players and both seller and buyer dynamics in the B2B and B2C spaces.
+ 5 years of experience in ecommerce.
Shopify experience is a plus
Proven success in delivering SMB / seller commerce partnerships based on deep understanding of both seller and buyer needs.
Successful track record in developing and bringing to life partnership strategies through a lens of build / buy / partner and in partnership with product and GTM leaders.
Strong communication skills and executive presence in engaging with senior internal and partner executives.
Deep experience in negotiating partnership deals spanning product, GTM, commercial and legal aspects.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. An accomplished presenter who can successfully articulate the vision, product and strategy, as well as the critical issues and priorities.
The confidence and agility to succeed in an entrepreneurial, ever-changing environment. The ability to think creatively and strategically to capitalize on new business opportunities.
Strategic thinker who can create and develop the long-term vision and is also a strong personal contributor with a desire to “roll-up their sleeves.”
