This position can be filled using a hybrid approach, with the option to work in our Berlin or Hamburg office for two days per week. 


Who You Are

As a Senior Product Manager, Demand-Side Platform, you’re going to play a key role in driving the improvements, features, integrations in core part of our demand-side product. You have to be passionate about innovation, improvement and iterations to bring our platform to new heights to help growing the existing customers and winning new ones.

You will identify what our clients need and help our business teams to deliver the best-in-class platform to the market.

Demand-side platform is a growing business unit in Verve Group and you will be joining during an exciting time.


What You Will Do

  • Identify problems / opportunities & perform product discovery to find out how the product can be improved

  • Dive deep into how the real-time bidding platform works, understand the different parts of the system, how are they connected to identify the possible improvements

  • Build an understanding of current integrations with externals systems to drive new integrations and enhance the existing ones

  • Work closely with a cross-functional team (product, operations, engineering, business) to build product features & functionalities and bring them to the market end to end (UI, API /Backend, Real-time bidding)

  • Define the product roadmap for your product area

  • Handle communication with internal/external stakeholders, partners & clients

  • Ensure the product increments we build are aligned with the overall strategy and product vision

  • Understand and map out cross-product dependencies with the other business units

  • Set and monitor product KPIs to make sure the initiatives are driving product success

  • Supply product marketing team with input to create marketing collateral & appropriate functional documentation

Job requirements

What You Will Bring

  • 4+ years of experience in a product management role in B2B companies

  • Prior experience in adtech / martech, understanding of the advertising industry, it’s use-cases, challenges & technologies and key players (SSPs, DSPs, DMPs)

  • Problem solver - You can capture business problems, come up with solutions and write good product requirement documents to keep everyone aligned on the scope

  • Technically skilled - You have a good understanding of APIs and how software systems can be integrated and exchange data with each other

  • Self-starter & self-motivator - you don’t wait to be told what needs to be done

  • Collaborator - you can gather tech and business stakeholders around you to work towards common goal

  • Achiever - You prefer to have something done, rather to have it perfect, you value iterative process

  • Data-driven - you value the power of data and can perform data analysis to make decisions / assess results

  • Proven track record in delivering products / features in partnership with engineering, business, operations and marketing.

  • Excellent communication & presentation skills (both written and verbal)

Nice to have:

  • Experience building technically advanced products, with real-time components / integrations

  • Passion and desire to play a key role in driving the core part of the programmatic platform

  • Understanding of go-to-market activities and focus on business outcomes
