Who You Are

We are seeking a Senior Manager – Business Insights with strong analytical expertise, SQL and Python proficiency, and a knack for uncovering what drives business performance. This role goes beyond reporting. You will investigate trends, identify root causes, and deliver insights that shape decisions across Product, Strategy, and Commercial teams. The ideal candidate combines technical depth with structured thinking and strong communication skills, translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.

What You Will Do

  • Analyze business performance and uncover insights that drive decisions across Product, Strategy, and Business teams

  • Use tools like Python and SQL to explore large datasets, identify patterns, and answer complex business questions

  • Build lightweight machine learning models or statistical analyses (e.g., regression, clustering) to support deeper understanding of user behavior, revenue trends, or growth drivers

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities

  • Create reusable analytical frameworks and scripts for common use cases like clustering, margin diagnostics

  • Partner with the BI Manager to take reporting to the next level — blending dashboards with proactive, insight-driven exploration

  • Clearly communicate findings through written summaries, presentations, or visualizations that influence decision-making

  • Help elevate the overall analytics maturity of the team by promoting code-first workflows, experimentation, and automation

Job requirements

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline. Master’s degree is a plus

  • 5–8 years of experience in analytics, data science, or business intelligence roles, ideally in tech, product-led, or digital businesses

  • Proficient in writing complex SQL queries across large, relational datasets

  • Strong hands-on experience using Python for data analysis, visualization, and light machine learning (pandas, seaborn, scikit-learn, etc.)

  • Statistical Skills: Working knowledge of experimental design, A/B testing, regression, and other statistical techniques

  • Experience with data visualization platforms such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI

  • Familiarity with modern data warehouses and platforms such as Google BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, etc.

  • Experience using Git for code collaboration and versioning is a plus

  • Ability to present complex data insights in a clear and business-friendly manner

  • Comfortable working closely with Product, Strategy, and Business teams to drive measurable outcomes
