As an analyst at Smaato, your work, whether it's data analysis and/or the presentation of that analysis, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions.   • Degree or equivalent experience in, computer science, mathematics, statistics, finance or other practical experience

  • 4 years of relevant analytical experience from a digital advertising, ad tech, agency, or equivalent organization or company

  • Business planning and modeling experience and familiarity with statistical approaches to analyses

  • Ability to cultivate cross-functional relationships and work in a fast-moving and constantly evolving environment

  • Experience using SQL to extract and manipulate data and build reporting dashboards and experience using Python, R, or other similar tools

  • Excellent analytical skills and business judgment with the ability to communicate effectively with executive management

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data sets into actionable insights

Job requirements


  • In this role, you will be responsible for driving key elements of our Demand organization. Additionally, you will lead all work, whether it's business projections, performance tracking, or data analysis metrics used by our leaders to make strategic business decisions

  • You will apply business judgment to develop a wide variety of reporting, analytic tools, and key performance indicators (KPI), and construct an understanding of demand and supply architecture and exchange operations, including how key health metrics translate to improved revenue (gross and EBITDA)

  • Partner with business and other cross-functional stakeholders to derive insights and drive performance

  • Work with large data sets to build robust, easy-to-understand growth opportunities with multiple scenarios for evaluating agreements and decisions

  • Create relevant dashboards, QBR reports, and operational key performance indicators to guide business decisions and inform on performance

  • Create and deliver presentations and analyses, gathering feedback from stakeholders and owning the communication of key decisions and action items

  • Manage competing resources and priorities and ensuring timely completion of ongoing and ad hoc projects
