Role Overview

We are seeking a highly strategic, analytical, and execution-focused Chief of Staff to support Verve’s Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). This role will operate at the centre of Verve’s global commercial organisation, partnering closely with executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and cross-functional alignment across Revenue, Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Product, and Finance teams.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong consulting or operational leadership background, preferably from top-tier firms such as Bain & Company or McKinsey & Company, or from a leading AdTech organisation. This person must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high- growth environment, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

This is a highly visible role with significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to directly influence Verve’s commercial strategy and operational effectiveness.

This role is based in NYC with a hybrid working model.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as a strategic partner to the CRO, supporting key commercial initiatives, organisational planning, and execution across global revenue teams

  • Drive cross-functional strategic projects across Sales, Demand, Supply, Revenue Operations, Product, Marketing, and Finance

  • Build and improve operational cadences including QBRs, forecasting processes, KPI reviews, leadership reporting, and executive business updates

  • Analyse commercial performance data to identify growth opportunities, operational inefficiencies, and strategic recommendations

  • Partner with Revenue Operations and Finance teams to improve forecasting accuracy, pipeline visibility, and commercial planning processes

  • Prepare executive-level presentations, board materials, business cases, and strategic recommendations for leadership meetings

  • Support go-to-market planning and execution for new commercial initiatives, products, and partnerships

  • Help drive organisational alignment and accountability across global commercial teams

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational scalability, communication flows, and decision-making frameworks

  • Partner closely with senior stakeholders to ensure strategic initiatives are delivered effectively and on time

Job requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy, operations, revenue operations, business operations, or commercial strategy

  • Previous experience at a top-tier consulting firm such as Bain & Company or McKinsey & Company strongly preferred, or equivalent experience within a leading AdTech business

  • Strong understanding of digital advertising, programmatic ecosystems, AdTech, SSPs, DSPs, and commercial operating models

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex business challenges into actionable recommendations

  • Experience working closely with executive leadership and managing high-impact cross- functional initiatives

  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of revenue organisations, forecasting, and go-to-market strategy

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience preparing executive-level materials

  • Ability to operate independently, prioritise effectively, and manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and business intelligence/reporting tools

  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and execution-focused with a proactive mindset

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus
