Who You Are

Due to our strong growth and international expansion as a business, we are looking for a Group Treasury Manager to join our team in Berlin. In this role, you are responsible for managing the financial and monetary aspects of the business, which include cash flow, liquidity, funding, and relationships with financial institutions. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience and seniority to set the overall direction for our treasury and cash management, while also evolving our approach and structure over time.

This is a hybrid position with three days per week in our Berlin office.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for cash-management strategy and implementation

• Short and medium-term liquidity planning as well as further development of cash-flow planning approaches

• Monitoring and optimization of cash management including payment transactions and administration of bank accounts of the group

• Contact person for our operational entities worldwide as well as for banks, financial institutions, financial service providers, and auditors

• Support in the month-end and annual financial closing process

• Analysis of interest rate and currency risks and development of appropriate proposals to minimize these risks

• Coordination of treasury issues with regional and local teams within the group

• Contribution to treasury reporting for the group consisting of preparation and analysis of actual data as well as short- and long-term liquidity planning

• Project management for automation, digitalization, and further development of treasury process improvements

• Handling of internal financial relationships such as loans, etc.

• Participation in the issuance and management of external financing such as bonds on the capital market, currency hedging instruments, etc.

What You Will Bring

• Degree in economics with a focus on treasury, banking, or cash management

• 5+ years of professional experience in the area of treasury or banking especially cash management

• Profound knowledge of MS Office (in particular, strong Excel skills are required), and ideally knowledge of treasury management software (e.g. UCI Prime)

• Excited about being part of an international capital market-oriented group of companies

• Fluent English is a must-have, good level of German is highly advantageous

• Exhibits a strong hands-on-mentality, combined with the ability to take a step back to frame the long-term direction for treasury management

• Ability to quickly absorb new information, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills
