Who You Are

Verve, a dynamic and rapidly expanding digital media platform, is looking for a versatile and proactive Marketing Manager to lead marketing initiatives across the APAC region, with a focus on China. As an integral member of the marketing team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by driving brand awareness, localizing content, and executing key strategies tailored to the region. What You Will Do

Responsibilities:

  • Event Management: Plan and execute high-impact marketing events, both virtual and in-person, such as conferences, workshops, and product launches, ensuring they resonate with the APAC audience and align with regional preferences.

  • Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the sales team to create and distribute sales collateral, presentations, and other materials that effectively support client meetings, pitches, and business development efforts.

  • Social Media Management: Lead the growth and engagement of local social media platforms (WeChat, Weibo, Douyin, etc.), producing and curating content that strengthens Verve’s brand, fosters customer relationships, and drives audience interaction.

  • Content Creation & Localization: Take ownership of adapting global content (articles, blogs, videos, case studies, etc.) to suit local cultural nuances while maintaining alignment with Verve’s overarching messaging. This includes translation, cultural adaptation, and content creation for the local market.

  • Campaign Execution: Collaborate with global teams to implement regional campaigns that align with local market trends, audience needs, and business objectives.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Work cross-functionally with regional teams, product teams, and sales to ensure marketing initiatives are in sync with broader business goals, ensuring successful outcomes across channels.

  • Market Research: Stay ahead of market trends, monitor competitor activities, and understand customer behavior to inform and adjust Verve's marketing strategies, keeping us competitive in the region.

Job requirements

 What You Will Bring

  • Native Mandarin speaker with outstanding written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English.

  • 5+ years of experience in a general marketing role, with a proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities, including event planning, content creation, social media management, and sales enablement.

  • Familiarity with regional digital marketing trends, especially on key social media platforms like WeChat, Weibo, and Douyin.

  • Strong project management abilities, with a demonstrated track record of working independently and across teams to deliver results on time and within scope.

  • A creative mindset with a passion for storytelling, marketing, and delivering innovative campaigns.

  • A strategic thinker who is also capable of rolling up your sleeves and executing on day-to-day tasks to meet goals.

  • Experience in adtech or a related field is a plus.
